Going through a tough time? It’s okay, we’ve all been there. Life can sometimes be overwhelming. Self-confidence issues, job problems, loneliness, grief….the list can be pretty long sometimes. When that happens, we may isolate and stop doing things that once brought some joy and contentment. The “avoidance technique” feels good temporarily but the problem is getting stuck there which happens quite a bit. At some point it becomes necessary to face our feelings and work through them.
